Azita Ghanizada

Azita An. Ghanizada (born in Afghanistan) is an Afghan American Actress in the United States. She has been featured in numerous television series. Her family was from Northern Virginia, and is the middle daughter from two siblings. The middle sister of her mother raised her in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her on-air camera career by being featured in a variety of National Commercials. Ghanizada appeared as Chiara in Laura Neri movie A Kiss on the Nose (2003). In recognition of her performance, she won in the festival's Cannes Film Festival, for the Best Actress Award. Some of her television roles are How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars NUMB3RS The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Psych and Castle. She most recently had a supporting role in the science-fiction action film Blood Shot (2009) and the comedies that are independent You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada began her acting career in 2008 when she was cast part of General Hospital's primetime spinoff, General Hospital. Night Shift season 2 as Dr. Saira Batra a specialist in holistic medicine.
